About

Welcome to Bites with The Beatles, the first Beatles food blog!

What I plan to do here is to post fun recipes inspired by the Fab Four, find exciting places where Beatles-themed dishes are served, and do other Beatles-related activities. I hope you will enjoy my content and will stick around for what I have planned!

About the author

My name is Abby Terrill, I’m from Dallas, Texas, and I’m a sophomore studying Journalism at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

I grew up listening to The Beatles, but my love for them didn’t fully materialize until I was 12, when I heard “Twist and Shout” for the first time. From then on, my love and adoration for them took off like a rocket. I began collecting memorabilia left and right, devoting most of my time listening to and learning about them, and even forming a “fan club” with a few of my online friends in eighth grade. Recently, I named my kitten in honor of George. The Beatles have had a profound impact on me which will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Additionally, I LOVE to cook (and eat!). Cooking has been a passion of mine since I was young, from the time I made my first bowl of homemade mac and cheese for my dad at age 5 (A.K.A. dumping every spice and herb we had in our spice cabinet into a bowl of uncooked pasta).

Thankfully, my mother refined my cooking skills. Meanwhile, my late grandmother taught me her baking secrets and shared her best recipes with me. Since then, I have been pushing myself to develop my own recipes and enhance my culinary skills. Additionally, I love to go out and try new and exciting foods near me and discover hip new places.

Look around (round, round, round, round…) and I hope you enjoy!
